How do I book an appointment?
Easy! Just head to our booking page or message us on Instagram or Facebook or come by the studio. For larger pieces artists will request a short consultation. A deposit will usually be needed to lock in your spot (this goes toward the final price).
Do you take walk-ins?
We are appointment only but sometimes we may have last minute availability! Walk-ins are welcome when there’s space, but most of our artists book up in advance. Best to get in touch ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
How much does a tattoo cost?
This really depends on the artist, size, style, and detail involved. Send over your idea and we can give you a rough estimate, full quotes come after the design is confirmed with your chosen artist.
Will it hurt?
There’s no way around it, tattoos can be uncomfortable. But it’s usually manageable, and our artists are pros at keeping you as comfortable and calm as possible. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, and we’ll support you through it.
How should I prepare?
Get a good night’s sleep, bathe & eat a proper meal, before your appointment, and stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol and painkillers beforehand, and wear clothes that give easy access to the area being tattooed. Bring snacks if it’s a longer session.
What about aftercare?
You’ll leave with clear aftercare instructions following your appointment but generally it’s about keeping your tattoo clean, moisturised, and out of the sun while it heals. If you’re ever unsure, just reach out. We’re here for you even after the tattoos completed.
Can I get tattooed if I’m under 18?
No. UK law is strict on this. You must be 18+, no exceptions. Bring valid photo ID or you may be refused.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes, but it depends on the piece and the artist. Not every cover-up is possible, but we’ll give honest advice. If a cover-up isn’t the best option, Sozo also offers laser tattoo removal in our in-house clinic. This can help fade the existing tattoo to create a better base for a new design or remove it completely.
Can I bring someone with me?
You can bring one friend for support, but please no under 18s or groups we like to keep the studio calm, respectful, and focused for both you and the artists.
What if I need to cancel?
If you need to reschedule, we require 7 days notice. Deposits are non-refundable, but with enough notice, we’re happy to move your appointment to a new date. No-shows and late cancellations will lose their deposit.
